Thanks again to all our runners.
Thanks also to all who worked on this event from Crewkerne Running Club, North Perrott Cricket Club, Haselbury Park Project, Haselbury first School, British Red Cross, Perrott Hill School and all the landowners whos land the footpaths traversed. The route was carefully checked after the race to ensure there was no damage or litter.

Steven Bayton from the University of Sheffield was the worthy winner in a record time of 36 minutes and 3 seconds.

A series of races around the cricket field was a new feature this year and proved very popular with the under 13's.

Note.
Crewkerne Running Club is affiliated with both UK Athletics and The Association of Running Clubs which is an organisation dedicated to road and cross country running rather than track and field. ARC race permit number ARC 11/90 has been granted which will give all participants the same degree of protection as before. Unaffiliated runners are still required to pay an extra levy of £2.
Join a club and avoid this charge, the benefits available to new members of Crewkerne Running Club are greater than the annual subscription!!

 .............................................

Special note:-
The section of the course through the grounds of Perrott Hill School is private. We only have special permission to use the route on the night of the race. If you wish to reccee the route there is a shortcut available by turning left into a field about 150 metres after the start.
Please respect the privacy of the school.

Proceeds from this event, after donations to the North Perrott Cricket Club and the British Red Cross, will be used to help the village school and other comunity projects.
